Regional Technical Meeting of BPS Heads of Regency/City as North Sumatera Year 2017

The Economic Census is held every ten years, where the Economic Census of 2016 (SE2016) is the fourth Economic Census, organized by BPS. The SE2016 series of activities has started from 2014 as Planning stage, and 2015 as the Preparatory stage. The business registration / listing activity has been conducted in 2016. Then in 2017 will be conducted analysis of SE2016 listing results and the data of UMK / UMB. While in 2018 will be conducted analysis of data collection of UMK / UMB. The big work of SE2016 requires commitment from all BPS employees from highest to lowest level. In the year 2017, before the implementation of data collection of UMK / UMB needs to be done in advance technical meetings led BPS Regency / City.

Support and participation are given by the whole range of leaders to support the creation of quality data and can provide excellent service to data users from all walks of life. In relation to efforts to improve performance in providing such qualified data, it is deemed necessary to hold Regional Technical Meeting (Ratekda) Head of BPS Regency / City in North Sumatera Year 2017. The theme of Ratekda 2017 is "Census Economic 2016 Qualified and Enhanced Working Culture ".

Participants of Ratekda 2017, amounted to 235 people consisting of 26 participants from Provincial BPS and 209 participants from BPS Regency / City who is a structural official or task force in 30 BPS Regency / City from 33 regencies / cities that exist in North Sumatra Province. Ratekda Leadership BPS Regency / City as North Sumatera Year 2017 lasted for 3 effective days that is from 18 s / d 20 April 2017 at Hotel Grand Mercure, Medan.
