Statistical Agent Training Statistical Corner University of North Sumatra (USU)

Medan, February 9, 2022, at the Vocational Faculty Building Hall of the University of Sumatera Utara (USU), BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province conducted Statistical Agent Training for the USU Statistics Corner which was launched on January 25, 2023 at the USU Library. Ms. Dwi Aryani, S.Si. acted as a resource person from BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. Also present were several employees from the BPS team, USU representatives and D3 Statistics, D3 Informatics, and S1 Mathematics students who will later become statistical agents at the USU Statistics Corner.

The event began with remarks by M. Dani Iskandar S.Si., M.Si. as the Coordinator of the Statistics Corner of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province, remarks by the Head of the D3 Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies USU Dr. Drs. Open Darnius, M.Sc., and remarks by Dr. Drs. Muhammad Husni Thamrin, M.Si. as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Vocational Studies USU who also officially opened the USU Statistics Corner Statistical Agent training activities. Furthermore, the handover of a plaque of gratitude between BPS and the USU Faculty of Vocational Studies.

The purpose of this activity is to introduce the Statistical Corner as well as the procedures for organizing the Statistical Corner at USU to the Statistical Corner Agent so that it can become an extension of statistical services, especially to students in the USU campus area.
