Sumatera Utara Regional Communication and Informatics Service Office Forum 2023

BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province attended the invitation of the Sumatera Utara Communication and Informatics Service Regional Apparatus Forum at the Sibayak Hotel, Berastagi, Karo Regency on March 9 2023. BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province was represented by Ms. Masta Juwita Gurning as Associate Expert Statistician BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province.

The Sumatera Utara Diskominfo Regional Apparatus Forum event was opened by the Head of the Sumatera Utara Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) Dr. Ilyas Sitorus.

Before opening the activity, the Head of the Sumatera Utara Communication and Information Office welcomed the presence of the Head of the RRI Medan Agung Prasatya Rosihan Umar Station, as well as all the Heads of Regency/City Communication and Information Services or those who represented them in the forum's activities. This meeting took the theme 'Synergy of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Towards the Realization of Regional Development Facilities in the Fields of Communication, Informatics Applications, Encryption and Statistics'. "You can say that our agency almost doesn't have 'red dates' (holidays). Because at any time we have to be alert if there is a leadership assignment that may be sudden, from morning to night," said Ilyas Sitorus.

Because of that, he said, it is only natural that the Communication and Informatics Service is a reflection of a province and district/city, how local governments carry out development programs and are known to the public. "Therefore, let's provide an understanding of this role. So, how do we convince the leadership (regional heads) about our various activities," he explained.
