Socialization of LF SP2020 Results

Monday, March 20 2023, BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province held a socialization of the Long Form Population Census Results for the 2020 Sumatera Utara Province at the Cambridge Hotel Medan. The SP2020 Long Form is a data collection activity as a continuation of the 2020 Population Census which was carried out on May 15 – June 30 2022. The SP2020 Long Form activity produces population indicators namely fertility, mortality, mobility, disability, education and housing. The socialization of the LF SP2020 results was officially opened by Mr. Nurul Hasanudin, SST, M.Stat as the head of the BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. This event was attended by several OPDs of Sumatera Utara Province, namely the Bukit Barisan Regional Military Command, POLDA, DISKOMINFO, Social Service, Health Office, Village Community Empowerment Service, Population and Civil Registry Service, P3AKB Office, BKKBN and BAPPEDA. The resource person in this socialization was Prof. Drs. Heru Santosa, MS, Ph.D as an academic at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU). With the Socialization of the LF SP2020 Results, it is hoped that the LF SP2020 result indicators can be conveyed to OPD and the media so that they are useful for Development Planning towards superior and competitive HR.
