The principle of ONE DATA according to Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia (SDI), is "the government's data management policy to produce data that is accurate, up-to-date, integrated and accountable, and easily accessible and shared between Central Agencies and Regional Agencies through the fulfillment of HR principles.
President Jokowi in his direction at the 2023 National Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads and Forkopimda throughout Indonesia (17/01), told regional heads and Bank Indonesia to work hard to deal with inflation by continuing to monitor the prices of goods and services on the ground.
The current condition of the availability of Price Data can be obtained from several sources, including:
- Collection of price data for several strategic commodities by BPS
- https://hargapangan.id/ (Bank Indonesia)
- https://ews.kemendag.go.id/ (Ministry of Trade)
- https://satudata.kkp.go.id/ (Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries)
- Local government conducting price surveys (https://hargajateng.org/; https://hargapangan.sumutprov.go.id/)
- And others.
For this reason, a Collaboration Program is needed to realize "One Indonesian Price Data", in order to unify price data from all Ministries/Institutions that can be used to produce more accurate inflation data as well as integration of price data that can be used together.
“One Indonesian Price Data” is a collaboration between BPS and Bank Indonesia and K/L/D related to price data collection, starting with the “Study of Mapping Methodology for Commodity Price Collection”.
One of the stages in the Commodity Price Collection Methodology Mapping Study was a Field Study conducted in the provincial capitals of North Sumatra, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, Bali, East Kalimantan and South Sulawesi.
