Medan, 30 May 2023. Formation of Gross Fixed Capital, hereinafter referred to as PMTB, is expenditure for capital goods that have a useful life of more than 1 (one) year and are not consumption goods.
Taking place at the Cambridge Hotel Medan, BPS North Sumatra Province held a Workshop (WS) on Disaggregation of the Formation of Gross Fixed Capital (PMTB) in 2023 which was attended by various groups from the Office, OPD, Pemprov, Companies, BPS Medan City, Print/Online Media as well as the academic community.
This activity was held with the aim of conveying and introducing the PMTB Disaggregation survey which was carried out in the field from March to July 2023 and as initial coordination with the Department, OPD and Companies. The event was opened by the Head of BPS for North Sumatra Province, Mr. Nurul Hasanudin. In his remarks Nurul Hasanudin said that this activity was a simultaneous activity carried out nationally to see the investment profile of various regions including North Sumatra Province. From this activity it is hoped that later it will be able to provide complete data where there are 24 types of assets, 3 institutional sectors and 17 business fields so that quality investment data or PMTB is needed and we will continue to strengthen it from the information available to stakeholders who handle investment data.
The WS PMTB activity also presented three speakers. From the BPS of North Sumatra Province (Pendi Dewanto) explained about the PMTB Disaggregation Preparation Survey, USU Researcher and FEB Lecturer (Coki Ahmad Syahwier) explained about the Role of Investment in Accelerating Economic Growth in North Sumatra, and from DPMPTSP Young Expert Policy Analyst (Evayanti Panjaitan) explained about The Role of Local Government in Increasing Investment for Economic Growth.
During the activity, the participants were very enthusiastic in discussing with the speakers. This can be seen from the number of questions asked to the resource persons.
The WS PMTB activity was then ended and closed by the Head of BPS for North Sumatra Province, Mr. Nurul Hasanudin, and ended with a group photo event.
