Friday, June 23 2023, BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province held a Blessing Friday Virtual Meeting Relaxing Chat ST2023 Sumatera Utara. This casual chat was attended by the Heads and Persons in Charge of ST2023 Activities from 31 Regency/City BPS work units in Sumatera Utara Province. This virtual meeting discussed the progress of the implementation of the Agricultural Census in all Regencies/Cities in Sumatera Utara Province. The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Francisca Wenny as Associate Expert Statist at BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province, as well as by Mr. Nurul Hasanudin as Head of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. The initial discussion begins with an evaluation of the progress of the 2023 Agricultural Census. In current conditions, information is obtained that currently the average progress of data collection for the Sumatera Utara Province is below the national average. For now, the discussion is related to field conditions in the districts/cities, as well as reports of obstacles to the ST2023 data collection in the regions. In addition, a discussion of follow-up problem solving was also given to increase the speed of the quantity and quality of ST2023 data collection. To make ST2023 successful, it is necessary to increase the coordination between the ST2023 team and AGRO. In the discussion session, an opportunity was given to the best temporary districts/cities to share tips and strategies for implementing ST2023 so that several other work units could implement them to increase the quantity and quality of data collection. The best work unit currently in the ST2023 data collection is BPS-Statistics of Padang Lawas Utara Regency. In the opportunity given, Ms. Try Asti Widita representing BPS-Statistics of Padang Lawas Utara Regency work unit stated that coordination between employees and officers to prioritize updates, then enter them into the repo, on the other hand the wilkerstat application has several constraints due to the geographical conditions of North Padang Lawas Regency.
