Medan, 18 October 2023. BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province held an internalization that discussed the village of love statistics which is popularly known as "DESA CANTIK" as the flagship program/Quick Win of BPS-Statistics. This internalization was packaged in the routine Wednesday Get Opportunity (We-GO) activity which was held in the hall on the 5th floor of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province at 08.00 WIB. Today's We-GO resource person is Mr. Cahyono Panca Aridesyadi, SST as a young expert statistician for the social statistics function of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province which was opened by Mrs. Aida Meimela, SST, M.Stat as a young expert statistician for the social statistics function of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province as host. The topic discussed in We-GO today is introducing statistics through DESA CANTIK. DESA CANTIK, which has been held since 2021, aims to increase statistical literacy, standardize statistics, optimize statistics for development and form statistical agents at the village level that are able to play a role in the field of statistics at the village level. The 2023 DESA CANTIK program is more about applying REGSOSEK data at the village level. With the existence of DESA CANTIK, it is hoped that there will be an increase in statistical capabilities so that development is expected to be based on data so that development is more targeted. Every year BPS-Statistics holds the DESA CANTIK Awards which aims to control and give awards to DESA CANTIK which implements the best statistics according to BPS-Statistics. Today's internalization of DESA CANTIK is carried out in a hybrid manner, namely offline for Sumatera Utara Province BPS-Statistics employees and online for Regency/City BPS-Statistics employees throughout Sumatera Utara Province. Internalization closed with interactive discussions with both offline and online participants.
