Rice Planting Movement with the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia

Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Head of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province, Asim Saputra, participated in the Rice Planting Movement for Planting Season I for the Period of October 2024 to March 2025, which was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabuming Raka. This activity was carried out in Hamlet VII, Aman Damai Village, Sirapit District, Langkat Regency. Gibran emphasized that the food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, and downstreaming programs are government programs that must be supported by all parties. The rice planting movement as part of a working visit to North Sumatra is one way to realize this government program.
