Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Meeting of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province – June 2026

On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province held its regular meeting at the Hall of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province. The event was conducted in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, togetherness, and a shared commitment to strengthening the role of women in environmental stewardship.

During this meeting, DWP of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province invited speakers from the Regional Development and Environmental Education (RDEE) of Sumatera Utara Province to provide education on sustainable environmental management. In addition to receiving inspiring insights, participants also took part in a hands-on workshop on making eco-enzyme, an initiative aimed at transforming organic waste into environmentally beneficial products.

This activity was in line with the spirit of “Smart Women, Waste-Free Homes,” emphasizing that meaningful environmental change can begin at home through the active role of women as drivers of change within their families. By equipping participants with knowledge and skills in managing household waste wisely, it is expected that every DWP member can become an agent of change in creating healthy, clean, and environmentally friendly households.

Together, let us create a greener and more sustainable environment, starting with small steps in our own homes.
