AMOR: Minisoccer VS Futsal

On Monday, July 27, 2026, BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province organized an Anak Medan mOnday Reaction (AMOR) session virtually through the Zoom platform. The theme of the event was “Similar but Not the Same: The Difference Between Mini Soccer and Futsal,” presented by two staff members of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province, Muharman Ali and Dian Setiawan.

During the session, participants received an explanation of what mini soccer and futsal are, including their basic concepts and characteristics. The presenters also provided a comparative overview of the differences between mini soccer and futsal, which was presented side by side in a table format to help participants clearly identify distinctions between the two sports that may appear similar at first glance but are in fact quite different.

The next session featured a sharing discussion with Dadan Supriadi, Head of the General Affairs Division of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province. On this occasion, he encouraged all employees of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province to continue playing an active role in supporting the successful implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026). Since the Economic Census activities will continue through August 2026, all employees were expected to keep monitoring the implementation process and participate actively in ensuring the success of SE2026. Employees were also asked to be prepared to conduct field supervision whenever necessary.

Through activities such as AMOR, BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province continues to encourage employee engagement through educational, interactive, and collaborative programs that not only broaden knowledge but also strengthen organizational commitment in supporting national statistical activities.
