Farmers Exchange Rate of Sumatera Utara Province April 2018 amounted to 98.73

• In April 2018, NTP of Sumatera Utara Province (2012 = 100) was recorded at 98.73, up 0.38 percent compared to March 2018 of 98.36.
• The increase in NTP April 2018 was due to the increase in the NTP subsector of smallholder plantation by 2.31 percent. While NTP Subsector of Food Crops decreased by 0.77 percent, NTP Horticulture Subsector decreased by 1.61 percent, NTP Livestock Subsector decreased by 0.04 percent, and NTP fisheries subsector fell by 0.53 percent.
• Changes in Household Consumption Index (IKRT) reflect the rate of rural inflation / deflation. In April 2018, there was a rural inflation rate in Sumatera Utara of 0.46 percent. This was due to the rise of six household consumption indexes, namely the foodstuff index by 0.71 percent, the index of the finished food, drinks, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.31 percent, the housing group index by 0.26 percent, the index of the clothing group 0.60 percent, education, recreation and sports group index by 0.11 percent, and transportation and communication group index by 0.24 percent. While the health group index fell by 0.01 percent.
• Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of Sumatera Utara Province April 2018 was 107.93 or up 0.60 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
