Farmers' Exchange Rate of Sumatera Utara Province in July 2019 amounted to 96.68

• In July 2019, Sumatera Utara Province's NTP (2012 = 100) was recorded at 96.68 or up 0.16 percent compared to the June 2019 NTP which was 96.52.
• The increase in the NTP in July 2019 was caused by the increase in the Horticulture sub-sector NTP by 1.04 percent, the NTP of the Community Plantation Plant Sub-sector by 0.40 percent, and the Livestock Sub-sector NTP by 0.42 percent. While the Food Crop Subsector's NTP fell by 0.74 percent, and the fisheries subsector's NTP fell by 0.51 percent.
• Changes in the Household Consumption Index (SCE) reflect the rural inflation / deflation rate. In July 2019, there was rural inflation in Sumatera Utara at 0.27 percent. This is due to the rise in all household consumption indexes, namely the foodstuffs group index of 0.45 percent, the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group index by 0.10 percent, the housing group index by 0.06 percent, the clothing group index by 0.36 percent, the health group index by 0.06 percent, the Education, Recreation and Sports group index by 0.37 percent, and the transportation and communication group index by 0.07 percent.
• The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Business (NTUP) of Sumatera Utara Province in July 2019 amounted to 107.14 or increased by 0.33 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
