Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in March 2021 increased compared to February 2021, namely from US $ 739.34 million to US $ 1.04 billion or an increase of 40.86 percent. When compared to March 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 62.37 percent
The categories of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value in North Sumatra in March 2021 against February 2021 were the animal / vegetable fats and oils with a value of US $ 235.12 million (99.45%).
Exports to China in March 2021 were the largest at US $ 161.84 million, followed by the United States at US $ 143.81 million and Russia at US $ 55.87 million with the contribution of the three reaching 34.71 percent.
According to the main group of export destination countries in March 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 352.10 (37.16%)
