Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in Sumatera Utara in July 2022 decreased compared to June 2022, from US$1.26 billion to US$1.25 billion, down by 1.03 percent. When compared to July 2021, Sumatera Utara's exports increased by 19.70 percent

The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in Sumatera Utara's export value in July 2022 to June 2022 was animal/vegetable fats and oils of US$ 25.97 million (4.54%).

Exports to China in July 2022 were the largest at US$242.21 million, followed by the United States at US$164.12 million and India at US$72.24 million with the contribution of the three reaching 38.27 percent.

According to the main group of export destinations in July 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$510.61 million (40.83%)
