Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in September 2022 reached 5,895 visits, while in August 2022 there were 10,287 foreign tourists who came to visit in North Sumatra.

For the September 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara has increased by 196,400.00 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 3 visits in September 2021 to 5,895 visits in September 2022.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in September 2022 was an average of 44.59 percent, or an increase of 1.35 points compared to August 2022 of 43.24 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels is 1.45 days during September 2022, an increase of 0.02 points compared to August 2022 of 1.43 days.

The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during September 2022 was recorded at 179,483 people, down 7.56 percent compared to August 2022 which recorded 194,160 people.

The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers (domestic) departing during September 2022 was recorded at 1,857 people, a decrease of 83.41 percent compared to the previous month of 11,194 people.
