Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the Sumatera Utara region in November 2022 decreased compared to October 2022, namely from US$1.08 billion to US$1.02 billion, a decrease of 4.69 percent. When compared to November 2021, Sumatera Utara's exports experienced an increase of 3.94 percent
  • The group of goods that experienced the largest decline in export value was the category of various chemical products which fell by US$17.19 million (-13.48%) followed by the category of rubber goods and goods made of rubber by US$12.21 million (-18.03%). Meanwhile, the category of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value in November 2022 compared to October 2022 was the coffee, tea, and spices group of US$5.20 million (16.96%).
  • Exports to China in November 2022 were the largest at US$227.88 million, followed by India at US$163.59 million and the United States at US$88.56 million with the contribution of the three of them reaching 46.80 percent.
  • According to the main group of export destinations in November 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$478.40 million (46.64%)
