Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in December 2022 reached 19,198 visits, while in November 2022 there were 10,615 foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.
  • For the December 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara cannot be compared to the same period in 2021, namely from 0 visits in December 2021 it has increased to 19,198 visits in December 2022.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in December 2022 averaged 51.77 percent, or an increase of 1.63 points compared to November 2022 of 50.14 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.49 days during December 2022, up 0.01 points compared to November 2022 of 1.49 days.
  • The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara through Kualanamu International Airport during December 2022 recorded 198,739 people, up 5.38 percent compared to November 2022 which recorded 188,598 people.
  • The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing during December 2022 was recorded at 10,492 people, an increase of 32.17 percent compared to the previous month of 7,938 people.
