Abstract

The number of Individual Agricultural Enterprises (UTP) in Sumatera Utara Province was 1,516,399 units, down 11.26 percent from 2013, which was 1,708,766 units.

The number of Agricultural Business Households (RTUP) in Sumatera Utara Province was 1,488,796 households, an increase of 12.13 percent from 2013 which was 1,327,759 households.

The ratio of Individual Agricultural Enterprises (UTP) in Sumatera Utara Province to Household Agricultural Enterprises (RTUP) was 1.02, down 0.27 points from 2013 which was 1.29.

The number of Legal Entity Agricultural Companies (UPB) in Sumatera Utara Province is 435 units, an increase of 1.16 percent from 2013 which was 430 units.

The number of Other Agricultural Businesses (UTL) in Sumatera Utara Province in 2023 will be 307 units, down 12.29 percent from 2013 which was 350 units.

The number of millennial farmers aged (19–39) years is 361,814 people, or around 24.64 percent of farmers in Indonesia.

The number of Urban Farming Individual Agricultural Businesses in atera Utara Province is 494 units.

The ten most commodities cultivated by Individual Agricultural Enterprises (UTP), namely: oil palm, inbred rice, rubber, hybrid corn, ordinary free-range chicken, coffee, beef cattle, pork, coconut, cayenne pepper.
