Abstract

The number of domestic passengers arriving in North Sumatra through Kualanamu International Airport in December 2024 reached 244,967 people or in other words, it increased by 39.17 percent compared to the previous month (there were 176,016 people).
The number of air passengers going to international destinations, both using domestic and foreign flights via Kualanamu International Airport, in December 2024 increased by 24.19 percent compared to November 2024, namely from 89,206 people to 110,782 people.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers (domestic) departing from Belawan Port in December 2024 was recorded as many as 12,990 people or increased by 56.36 percent compared to the previous month (there were 8,308 people). Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in December 2024 was recorded at 19,608 people, or increasing 154.39 percent compared to the previous month (there were 7,708 people).
During December 2024, inter-island freight transportation for loading activities at Belawan Port reached 15,850 tons, or decreased by 41.47 percent compared to November 2024 (there were 27,081 tons). Meanwhile, the unloading activities in December 2024 increased by 9.57 percent, from 469,869 tons in November 2024 to 514,839 tons in December 2024.
