Abstract

The export value through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in February 2025 increased compared to January 2025, namely from US$ 919.50 million to US$ 1,002.49 million or an increase of 9.03 percent. When compared to February 2024, North Sumatra's exports increased by 34.23 percent.
The group of goods that experienced the largest decrease in February 2025 compared to January 2025 was the rubber and rubber goods group, which decreased by US$ 11.26 million (-11.95%) followed by the soap and cleaning preparations group, which decreased by US$ 6.16 million (-12.03%). The group of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value was the animal/vegetable fats & oils group, which increased by US$ 72.02 million (20.57%) and followed by the group of various chemical products, which increased by US$ 20.04 million (14.42%).
