Abstract

In April 2025, the NTP of North Sumatra Province (2018=100) was recorded at
141.18 or down 3.17 percent compared to the NTP in March 2025, which was
145.81.
The decrease in the NTP in April 2025 was due to a decrease in the NTP of four subsectors, namely the NTP of the Food Crops subsector by 0.54 percent, the NTP of the People's Plantation Crops subsector by 5.40 percent, the NTP of the Livestock subsector by 1.05 percent, and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector by 0.39 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP of the Horticultural Crops subsector increased by 7.35 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of North Sumatra Province in April 2025 was 142.50 or decreased by 2.40 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
