Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 3 (three) entry points in April 2025 reached 19,948 visits or increased by 16.28 percent compared to foreign tourists arriving in March 2025 which amounted to 17,155 visits.
In the period January - April 2025, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 3.35 percent compared to the same period in 2024, namely from 80,522 visits in January - April 2024 to 83,222 visits in the period 2025.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Sumatera Utara in April 2025 averaged 40.10 percent, or increased by 8.12 points compared to March 2025 which was 31.98 percent.
The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.16 days during April 2025, or down 0.18 points compared to April 2025 of 1.34 days.
