Abstract

In June 2025, the NTP for Sumatera Utara Province (2018=100) was recorded at 138.80, a decrease of 0.53 percent compared to the NTP for May 2025, which was 139.53.
The decline in the June 2025 NTP was attributed to decreases in the NTP of three subsectors: the Horticultural Crops subsector by 3.77 percent, the Smallholder Plantation Crops subsector by 0.93 percent, and the Livestock subsector by 0.68 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP of the other two subsectors increased, namely the NTP of the Food Crops subsector by 1.36 percent and the NTP of the Fisheries subsector by 0.84 percent.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for Sumatera Utara Province in June 2025 was 139.10, a decrease of 0.79 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
