Abstract

The number of domestic passengers arriving in Sumatera Utara through Kualanamu International Airport in May 2025 reached 171,133 people or in other words, it decreased by 15.28 percent compared to the previous month (there were 202,005 people).
The number of air passengers going to international destinations, both using domestic and foreign flights via Kualanamu International Airport, in May 2025 decreased by 6.72 percent compared to April 2025, namely from 101,992 people to be 95,138 people.
The number of inter-island sea transportation passengers (domestic) departing from Belawan Port in May 2025 was recorded as many as 9,890 people or decreased by 63.11 percent compared to the previous month (there were 26,810 people). Meanwhile, the number of passengers arriving in May 2025 was recorded at 8,161 people, or decreasing 45.39 percent compared to the previous month (there were 14,945 people).
