Abstract

In this paper presented a descriptive review of some indicators of Sumatera Utara tourism. In addition, Location Quotient analysis and Multiple Linear Regression modeling were conducted to see the indicators that significantly influence the number of foreign tourist arrivals to Sumatera Utara. This paper is expected to be input for Sumatera Utara Local Government in taking policy in tourism sector to increase the number of foreign tourist visit to Sumatera Utara.
