Abstract

The National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2005-2025 is an elaboration of the objectives of the establishment of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (UUD 1945), in the form of vision, mission and direction of national development objectives Covering the span of 20 years. The RPJPN document should be supplemented with information on the current and future population numbers that are indispensable in the development planning process. In fulfilling the above objectives, population information is needed to support future development planning, both at the provincial and district / city levels.
