Expenditure Consumption Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2017

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys conducted by BPS. To collect data on various socio-economic aspects and fulfillment of life needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and employment. The data can provide an overview of the process and achievements of the development program, and to find out how far the development program implemented has been enjoyed by various levels of society. The socio-economic data collection of the population is carried out through a household approach. Starting in 2015 data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. The data published in this book are the results of the Susenas in March 2017. This publication contains information to provide an overview of the level of consumption and consumer behavior at various levels of society at the provincial and district / city levels, as well as population consumption in units of calories, protein and fat.
