Regional Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2018

Publication of Sumatera Utara Province in Figures 2018 is a routine publication published annually by the BPS of North Sumatra Province to fulfill the information needs of all levels of society and as a form of accountability and performance in public services.
At present, the need for statistical data from each development sector is increasingly felt, and this has motivated the Sumatera Utara Provincial BPS to continue to complete and refine the data presented, both in terms of quantity and quality. The data presented comes from routine activities, surveys, and censuses carried out by the BPS of Sumatera Utara Province, and supplemented by secondary data collected and managed by government and private agencies in the Sumatera Utara Province. Broadly speaking, this publication contains statistical information about geographical conditions, government, population, employment, agriculture, industry, mining, energy, construction, drinking water, electricity, transportation and communication, banking, and gross regional domestic products. All of this, is expected to be the main raw material in sectoral and cross-sectoral development planning in the Sumatera Utara Province.
