Expenditure Statistics for Population Consumption of North Sumatra Province 2019 | v INTRODUCTION The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys conducted by BPS to collect data on various socioeconomic aspects and fulfillment of life needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and employment . The data can provide an overview of the process and achievements of development program results, and to find out to what extent the implemented development programs have been enjoyed by various levels of society.

The socioeconomic data collection of the population is done through a household approach. Starting in 2015 data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. Data published in this book are the result of the March 2019 National Socio Economic Survey.
