Welfare Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2020

Data and information are needed in order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions is needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and job opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society.
The publication of "People's Welfare Statistics" is the result of the March 2020 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) added to the results of the calculation of population projections. It is expected that data users can easily see variations in the level of people's welfare between districts / cities in North Sumatra. In some review tables, data presentation is differentiated by gender to see gender differences in certain aspects.
