Construction Cost Index in Sumatera Utara Province 2021

Construction Cost Index in Sumatera Utara Province 2021 is an annual publication containing information on Provincial and Regency/City Construction Cost Index (IKK) figures in North Sumatra. IKK is a price index that describes the level of construction cost of a district/city compared to the reference city. The reference city used in 2021 is Makassar City. The previous reference cities were Semarang in 2018-2019 and Surabaya in 2015-2017. The data presented in this publication is obtained from the results of the Construction Costly Price Survey (SHKK) specifically for building/construction materials, heavy equipment rental, and construction service fees carried out in districts/cities in North Sumatra. The data processed comes from price data in the third and fourth quarters of 2020 and the first and second quarters of 2021. The calculation of the IKK weigh chart uses data from the Bill of Quantity (BoQ), the Work Unit Price Analysis Book of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, and data on the realization of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD). The 2021 IKK is one of the main components used for calculating the General Allocation Fund (DAU) for the 2022 Fiscal Year.
