Farmer Terms of Trade Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province Semester I 2022

The data presented in this publication includes Farmer Exchange Rates from five sub-sectors, namely food crops sub-sector, horticulture sub-sector, smallholder plantation crops sub-sector, livestock sub-sector, and fishery sub-sector. The data presented is North Sumatra Province Farmer's Exchange Rate data from January to June 2022. The North Sumatra Province Farmers' Exchange Rate is calculated from the results of the Rural Price Statistics Survey in 22 districts in North Sumatra Province. Since January 2020, Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is calculated using the base year 2018.
This publication also contains concepts and definitions, methodologies, as well as an explanation of the weighing chart in the preparation of the NTP. Thus, data users can understand well the process of calculating FTT as an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers.
