Gross Regional Domestic Product of Sumatera Utara Province by Expenditure 2018-2022

Economic growth is a very important indicator in analyzing the economic development of a region. The economic growth of a region is a benchmark for the success of development and an illustration of the level of welfare of the people in that region. Economic growth is derived from the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). This indicator can also be used as a basis for formulating policies in the economic sector. Until now, the calculation of GRDP by the BPSStatistics of Sumatera Utara Province has been carried out through two approaches, namely by industry and by expenditure.
The publication of GRDP of Sumatera Utara Province by Expenditure 2018-2022 is a publication published annually. This publication specifically discusses GRDP according to the expenditure approach through final consumption activities and real investment. This approach is broken down into several components, namely: Household Consumption Expenditures, Consumption Expenditures for Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Inventory Changes), Exports and Imports.
