Expenditure Consumption Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2022

The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the surveys conducted by the BPS to collect data on various socio-economic aspects and meeting the necessities of life such as clothing, food, housing, education, health, security and employment. The data can provide an overview of the process and results of development programs, as well as to determine how far the implemented development programs have been enjoyed by various levels of society.
The collection of population socio-economic data is carried out through a household approach. Starting in 2015, data collection was carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. The data published in this book is the result of the March 2022 Susenas field data collection which can provide an overview down to the district/city level.
This publication contains information to provide an overview of consumption levels and consumer behavior in various levels of society, both at the provincial and district/city levels.
