Harvested Area and Production of Paddy in Sumatera Utara Province 2022

Integrated Food Crop Agricultural Statistics Data Collection using the Area Sample Frame Method (KSA) is an activity carried out through collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN) which has now merged into the Agency National Research and Innovation (BRIN), Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Ministry of ATR/BPN), and Geospatial Information Agency (BIG).
This activity is included in a national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in the context of improving food statistical data, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main aim of this activity is to produce objective, scientific, rice harvest area data. and involves the role of the latest technology, so that the rice production data collected is more accurate, faster and precise
time.
