Opinion collection for statistical literacy BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province 2023

The publication ORASI Statistics Collection of Opinions for Statistical Literacy has been released again for its third edition. A collection of opinions from North Sumatra Province BPS writers summarized during 2023 illustrates the heterogeneity of ideas and thoughts summarized into one.
Data and statistics speak through the writings of statisticians. The outpouring of thoughts and points of view is expressed in opinions presented through the mass media. In this publication, statistics in North Sumatra in 2023 have produced 15 articles from 8 authors which have been published in local and national mass media.
Composing sentences and arranging them in the form of popular opinions is one part of developing the profession of employees within BPS. Paying close attention to phenomena and issues currently occurring in society and analyzing them from a specific perspective will increase the sharpness of thinking and solve problems (Problem Solving). Of course, this can be a lesson for the general public to become more familiar and familiar with data and statistics.
