Farmer Terms of Trade Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province 2nd Semester 2024

The data presented in this publication includes Farmer Exchange Rates from five subsectors, namely the food crops subsector, horticulture subsector, smallholder plantation subsector, livestock subsector, and fisheries subsector. The data presented is the Farmer Exchange Rate data for North Sumatra Province from July to December 2024. The Farmer Exchange Rate for North Sumatra Province is calculated from the results of the Rural Price Survey in 22 districts in North Sumatra Province. Since January 2020, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) has been calculated using the base year 2018=100. This publication also contains concepts and definitions, methodology, and explanations regarding the weighing diagram in compiling the NTP. Thus, data users can understand the process of calculating the NTP as one of the indicators to see the level of farmers' ability/purchasing power.
