We-GO : Sumatera Utara Agricultural Studies

Wednesday, 8 March 2023 BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province held a routine knowledge sharing agenda which was packaged in the "Wednesday Get Opportunity" or We-GO segment. Today's We-GO was held at 08.00-09.00 WIB in the 5th floor hall of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province with a discussion of Sumatera Utara Agricultural Studies delivered by Mr. Nizaruddin as Associate Expert Statistician of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province. The material presented discussed the current condition of farmers in Sumatera Utara Province, where the majority of residents are elderly, so they are far from technology and the internet. With the development of technology that is spread via the internet, it is hoped that there will be the next generation who have the technology to implement modern agriculture in accordance with technological developments so that they are able to elevate the current agricultural conditions.

The session was carried out in a hybrid manner, namely offline by employees of BPS-Statistics of Sumatera Utara Province and online for all Regency/City BPS-Statistics employees through the zoom application. The We-GO event was closed with a question and answer session and interactive discussions both online and offline.
