STUDY VISIT BY STUDENTS OF STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF SUMATERA UTARA

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Universal Islamic Economics Study Group from the State Islamic University of Sumatera Utara (UINSU) conducted a study visit to BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province and was welcomed directly by the General Affairs BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province, Rahmat Gustiar.

During the visit, the students were introduced to the process of compiling statistical data to produce accurate and relevant economic analysis.

The main focus of the discussion was on the compilation of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and inflation figures, covering stages from data collection and processing to result interpretation. The explanation was delivered comprehensively to ensure that participants understood how these economic indicators are developed and utilized in regional development planning and evaluation.
