Socialization of Macro Indicators of Sumatera Utara Province in Semester 1 2024

Medan, July 8 2024. BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province held a socialization on Sumatera Utara macro indicators for Semester 1 2024 at the Le Polonia Hotel Medan. This activity was attended by all employees of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province, OPD Sumatera Utara Province, Heads of Regency/City BPS-Statistics around Sumatera Utara Province and Dharma Wanita BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province. In this activity, several developments in Sumatera Utara province's macro indicators were presented, such as inflation, farmer exchange rate (NTP), Export Import, Tourism, Transportation, Poverty and Economic Growth/Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The resource persons for this socialization were the BPS Intermediate Expert Statistics for Sumatera Utara Province, namely Mrs. Laila Syafrita Siregar, Mr. Dadan Supriadi and Mr. Pendi Dewanto. Apart from socializing macro indicators, this event also included a handover of the position of Head of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province from Mr Nurul Hasanudin to Mr Asim Saputra. Currently, Mr. Nurul Hasanudin has received a rotation of positions to occupy the position of Head of BPS for DKI Jakarta Province, while Mr. Asim Saputra was previously the head of BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province. The handover ceremony was greeted with dances from 8 ethnic groups and the presentation of souvenirs.
