Release of Official News Statistics on Economic Growth/GRDP of North Sumatra Province Third Quarter 2024 and Employment Conditions of North Sumatra Province August 2024

Medan, November 5 2024. BPS North Sumatra Province released the Official Statistical News (BRS) on the Economic Growth of North Sumatra Province for the Third Quarter of 2024 and the Employment Conditions of North Sumatra Province August 2024 in the Hall on the 5th floor of BPS North Sumatra Province.

This activity was attended directly by Acting. Governor of North Sumatra, Agus Fatoni. Also present were the Head of the North Sumatra BI Representative, IGP Wirakusuma, the Head of the North Sumatra Province Bappelitbang, Alfi Syahriza, the Head of the North Sumatra Bulog Region, Arif Mandu, the Head of the Medan LPS Representative Muhammad Yusron, as well as Representatives from the North Sumatra OJK, North Sumatra DJP Representative, Representative Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province and others.

On this occasion, the Head of BPS for North Sumatra Province, Asim Saputra, said that North Sumatra's economic growth was much higher than the average growth on the island of Sumatra. In terms of employment, the number of workers in North Sumatra Province will increase in August 2024. Meanwhile, Acting The Governor of North Sumatra, Agus Fatoni, on this occasion also expressed his thanks to BPS for consistently releasing information data which is very necessary for the development of the North Sumatra region.
