In an effort to improve the quality of sectoral statistical management within the Sumatera Utara Provincial Government, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province held a sectoral statistical development activity with the theme "Implementation of the Statistical Business Process."

The event was opened by Senior Statistician of BPS-Statistics Sumatera Utara Province, Misfaruddin, followed by an opening speech delivered by the Head of the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bappelitbang) of Sumatera Utara Province, represented by the Head of Infrastructure and Regional Affairs Division, Ihsan Azhari.

On this occasion, a comprehensive presentation and discussion were held on the implementation of the Statistical Business Process based on the international standard, the Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM), covering planning, data collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination.
