2026 Pancasila Day Commemoration Ceremony

On Monday, 1 June 2026, the Head of BPS Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Asim Saputra, served as the ceremony inspector during the commemoration of Pancasila Day. This year’s commemoration carried the theme “Pancasila, the Unifier of the Nation and the Foundation of World Peace.”

In his address, the speech of the Head of Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila (BPIP) was delivered, stating that Pancasila is the “guiding star” that has proven resilient in facing the nation’s various challenges. Amid global uncertainty and the threat of fragmentation, Indonesia continues to stand strong as evidence that diversity can be united through a shared national identity. However, economic and technological progress must be accompanied by a strong moral foundation. Therefore, all elements of the nation, especially the younger generation, are encouraged to embrace Pancasila as a living ideology and a guiding principle in building the future of the nation.

The commemoration of Pancasila Day is not merely an annual ceremony, but also a moment of reflection to ensure that the values of Pancasila remain alive in the spirit of every citizen.
