Abstract

- In November 2017, Sumatera Utara NTP Province (2012 = 100) was recorded at 99.65 or up 0.14 percent compared to October 2017 NTP of 99.51.

The NTP increase in November 2017 was caused by the increase of NTP in the Food Crops sub-sector by 0.43 percent, Horticulture subsector by 1.01 percent, the Subsector of Plantation Plantation increased by 0.13 percent, and the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.28 percent. While the Livestock subsector fell by 0.74 percent.

Changes in Household Consumption Index (IKRT) reflect the rate of rural inflation / deflation. In November 2017, there was a rural inflation rate in North Sumatra of 0.64 percent. This was due to an increase in the index of all household consumption groups, namely the foodstuff index by 1.29 percent, the index of the finished food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.08 percent, the housing group index by 0.07 percent, the group index clothing by 0.40 percent, health group index by 0.06 percent index of education, recreation and sports group by 0.08 percent, and transportation and communication group index by 0.14 percent.

Agricultural Household Trade Rate (NTUP) of Sumatera Utara Province November 2017 was 107.95 or up 0.58 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
