Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who visit at Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in June 2018 reached 14,716 visits, decreased 0.48 percent compared to that coming in May 2018 reached 14,787 visit. When compared to the same month of 2017, the number of foreign tourists in June 2018 fell 27.60 percent, from 20,327 visits in June 2017 to 14,716 visits.
• In June 2018, foreign tourists from Malaysia are visitors with 9,676 visits or 65.75 percent of the total visiting foreign tourists in Sumatera Utara
• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatera Utara in June 2018 reached an average of 44.29 percent, or up 1.01 points compared to May 2018 of 43.29 percent.
• Average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at the hotel starred in June 2018 to 1.34 days, down 0.13 points compared to May 2018.
• The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara through Kualanamu International Airport during June 2018 reaching 336,870 people, up 22.32 percent compared to May 2018 which reached 275,394 people.
• The number of passengers on inter-island sea transport (domestic) departed in June 2018 recorded as many as 19,028 people, up 556.82 percent compared to the previous month as many as 2897 people.
