The number of Sumatera Utara Tourists in July 2019 was 22,417 visits

• The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in July 2019 reached 22,417 visits, an increase of 4.54 percent compared to those who came in June 2019 to reach 21,444 visits.
• In July 2019, the number of tourists visiting North Sumatra decreased by 0.43 percent compared to the same period in 2018, from 22,514 visits in 2018 to 22,417 visits in 2019.
• In July 2019, tourists from Malaysia were the most visitors with 9,549 visits or 42.60 percent of the total tourists visiting Sumatera Utara.
• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of five-star hotels in Sumatera Utara in July 2019 reached an average of 48.42 percent, down 1.11 points compared to June 2019 of 49.53 percent.
• The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels in July 2019 reached 1.61 days, down 0.31 points compared to June 2019.
• The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during July 2019 reached 236,008 people, down 3.99 percent compared to June 2019 which reached 245,820 people.
• The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transport passengers departing in July 2019 was 16,102, down 37.31 percent compared to the previous month of 25,687 people.
