Abstract

  • The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in February 2021 decreased compared to January 2021, namely from US $ 799.21 million to US $ 739.34 million or a decrease of 7.49 percent. When compared to February 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 8.09 percent 
  • The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value in North Sumatra in February 2021 against January 2021 were the rubber and rubber goods group of US $ 17.39 million (13.47%). 
  • Exports to the United States in February 2021 were the largest, namely US $ 117.59 million, followed by China at US $ 94.21 million and Japan at US $ 48.57 million with the contribution of the three reaching 35.21 percent. 
  • According to the main group of export destination countries in February 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 256.72 (34.72%)
