Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara Province through 4 (four) entrances in January 2022 reached 0 visits or no visits, still the same compared to those who came in December 2021 reaching 0 visits.
  • In the January 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara Province decreased by 100.00 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 11 visits in 2021 to 0 visits in 2022.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara Province in January 2022 reached an average of 42.62 percent, or decreased by 6.66 points compared to December 2021 of 49.28 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels during January 2022 reached 1.33 days, down 0.12 points compared to December 2022.
  • The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara Province via Kualanamu International Airport during January 2022 reached 161,417 people, down 0.02 percent compared to December 2021 which reached 161,457 people.
  • The number of inter-island (domestic) sea transportation passengers departing during January 2022 was recorded at 8,078 people, an increase of 113.14 percent compared to the previous month of 3,790 people.
