Abstract

During February 2022 there were no foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara, this condition is the same as in January 2022, where the number of foreign tourists visiting is also 0.
  • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in February 2022 averaged 38.65 percent, or decreased by 3.97 points compared to January 2022 which was 42.62 percent.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at five-star hotels during February 2022 was 1.37 days, down 0.04 points compared to January 2022.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star hotels in Sumatera Utara in February 2022 was an average of 28.61 percent, or an increase of 0.14 points compared to January 2022 which was 28.47 percent.
  • The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during February 2022 was recorded at 137,536 people, a decrease of 14.79 percent compared to January 2022 which was recorded at 161,417 people.
  • The number of inter-island sea transport passengers (domestic) departing during February 2022 was 4,555 people, a decrease of 43.61 percent compared to the previous month of 8,078 people.
